SOME WICKED: Dashiell Brown's Blog

Hello there! I’m a little older now then that picture there, but just in case you’re wondering, I’m a freelance music journalist/writer and DJ for The New Spin, The Folkin’ Freak Show, and Other Frequencies all on 93.5 CHMR-FM, which streams online at their website. I have followed the underground music scene for 20 years. I’m also a musician, and I have just finished my new project Circuit Tree, a unique blend of organic electronic folk music, also streaming at thenewspin.ca. Originally from California, I now live in St. John’s, Newfoundland with my wife and two girls.

I am also currently judging the 100% Music Songwriting Contest of 2009.

The New Spin on 93.5 CHMR-FM Thursdays 9-11 P.M. “The best music you’ve never heard.” The New Spin is also broadcast on Ohzone.org.
